Tim Dumenil | Chief Executive Officer
Has over twenty-five years practical experience in the London Insurance Market, a career path through major Lloyds’ broking and underwriting companies including Stewart Wrightson, Jardines, Zurich Group and Lincoln National. A past member of Lloyd’s, he contributed to the International development of the Aviation Insurance Association and travelled extensively and delivered presentations at a number of industry conferences and seminars.
Over the last ten years he has been involved in executive search and selection and corporate development within the insurance sector. Utilising his extensive knowledge and experience in insurance he founded TPD & Associates to assist other companies by allowing them to concentrate on their core businesses and achieve growth in this competitive, ever changing environment. He has brought together a number of individuals with complimentary skills to form a team of experienced City professionals with diverse areas of expertise.
Tim has overall responsibility for TPD’s Venture Capital and Lloyd’s of London relationships, specialising in the aviation, marine, accident and health and energy sectors.

Leo Gibbons | Managing Director
Leo has over 30 years experience in the London Financial Services sector. Having spent ten years in International banking, principally in trade finance, Leo moved to the political risk insurance market with Sedgwick in 1989.
Following a move to Hiscox in 1994, Leo specialised in marketing, sales and distribution in a variety of business sectors including high net worth, legal expenses, professional indemnity and general liability.
A member of the seed capital team for the floatation of PRI Group, Leo also held the post of Marketing Director for Novae and most recently Distribution Director for Giles Insurance Brokers.
With an extensive range of senior contacts in the UK insurance market and particular expertise in the development and structure of Managing General Agencies, Leo is responsible for TPD Corporate and accessing funding, distribution and capacity for our corporate clients. He also provides consultancy services in marketing and distribution and advises insurance teams on start-ups and joint venture arrangements.

David Flint | Partner
David has run a specialist insurance executive search business since 2001 – KPM Search. In 2012 KPM merged its business with TPD & Associates and David has now taken over responsibility for retained search and senior appointments for TPD Executive.
He has extensive experience in building teams and senior appointments both UK and Globally, for Lloyd’s entities and International re-insurers, with success in a variety of classes including Property and Casualty, Aviation, Marine and Treaty.
David spent in excess of 20 years in the London Insurance Market, travelling and transacting both insurance and reinsurance business around the globe for a number of the largest insurance Brokers in the Lloyd’s market.

Richard Jagger | Consultant
Richard is a Cambridge graduate with an Honours Degree in History and Modern Chinese. An investment analyst for nearly twenty years he finished his stockbroking career as Director in charge of heavy end and technology research at Gerrards and then European telecom analyst for Prudential-Bache. He began his successful career as a Search Consultant in 2002 specialising in Equity markets on both the ‘buy’ and ‘sell’ side of the business, and subsequently joined TPD & Associates in March 2004 to cover Equity markets. He travels extensively, is interested in world affairs and is an expert chess player, having played for England.

Chris Hills | Consultant
Chris has over 35 years’ experience in the London, Lloyds and Worldwide Insurance and Reinsurance market, as Managing Director of Guy Carpenter, he led their Treaty Wholesale and Market Relationship Management sectors before switching to the underwriting and production arena with the Imagine Group, Hiscox, and again latterly advising Millers as an Alternative Risk Transfer specialist.
Having a broad-range of Board and Management contacts in the Broking and underwriting sectors, Chris is therefore well-placed to work on TPDassociates’ clients’ bespoke requirements and is responsible for Reinsurance and ART divisions.
Chris has also been a Member of Lloyd’s for over twenty years.

Dave Thompson | Consultant
Dave joined TPD in 2011 and brings with him a wealth of hands on experience in relation to HR and recruitment practice working in the Financial Services sector and his own consultancy practice for over 30 years.
During 23 years with Barclays, Dave progressed through the branch network into Operations Management where he quickly gained a reputation as a troubleshooter, turning negative situations around through a combination of employee motivation and bringing good disciplines to the workplace. As a result, he progressed into the HR management initially within the London Regional HR team, followed by two years as Employee Relations Manager in Barclays’ Head Office and two years as a Project Manager for Employee Development and implementing Recruitment & Assessment Centres.
A Mancunian by birth, Dave was educated at William Hulme’s Grammar School. Following qualification with the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development in 1999, Dave then set up his own business providing practical solutions to SMEs operating in a variety of sectors, covering recruitment at all levels (including psychometric assessment) through to advice and process management on workplace disputes, redundancy programmes and employment contracts.

Roger Morgan | Non-Executive Chairman
Roger has extensive Insurance and Reinsurance market knowledge having held Executive positions at various institutions over more than 40 years which includes being Chairman of Morgan Read & Sharman, a very successful Reinsurance Broker, Deputy Chairman of LIMIT; and has been in Non-Executive roles with Maison Walbaum, Omega Underwriting Agents Limited, HWS Holdings Ltd and its Lloyd’s broker subsidiary Harman Wicks & Swayne Ltd, the latter 3 as their Chairman.
He is also a Director of a corporate finance business which acts as a broker for management buy-ins and capital and fund raising. This company has contact with major stockbrokers and hedge funds in London.

Brian King | Non-Executive Director
Brian King is a Non Executive Director for TPD. His career in Insurance commenced in April 1966 when, after leaving Local Government, he joined a firm of Lloyd’s brokers. He has remained in this community for over forty-two years, always in a role as a Producer/Broker, but during the last fifteen years as a Senior Director and leading strategist for international business in the London market. Brian’s last full-time position was as Deputy Chairman of Arthur J Gallagher (UK) Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the World’s fourth largest Insurance Broker.
His positions within the Lloyd’s Community include: Member of Lloyd’s from 1979 to 2000; Member of Lloyd’s Insurance Brokers Committee from 1997 to 2000; Chairman of L.I.B.C. Reinsurance Sub Committee during 2000; Non-Executive Chairman of Integro Insurance Brokers (formerly Humphrey’s Haggas, Sutton Ltd); Non-Executive Director Marine, Aviation & General Ltd from 1993 to 2009 and presently Non Executive Director of DECUS Brokers.

Ruth Woolley | Consultant
Ruth is an experienced business producer and manager, with over 25 years’ experience in media sales and management and media recruitment. Having worked in national, regional and international publishing groups News International (Times and Sunday Times), the Financial Times and Press Holdings (The European, Sunday Business and the Scotsman) to senior management level, she has been involved in significant media launches and innovations, managing teams between 6 and 100. She moved into media recruitment in 2000, as Commercial Director at Morgan Rutherford Group, and launched the media division at Market Research recruitment consultancy Elizabeth Norman International.
Latterly Ruth has concentrated on recruitment in the insurance sector, branching out from media into sales and general insurance appointments.

Maureen Parkin | Office Manager
Maureen is a dedicated administration assistant and has been involved in Headhunting and consultancy business for over twenty years. Understanding all the difficulties involved in running small businesses, Maureen can handle all credit control and confidential documentation in a fast and efficient manner. As a keen golfer it is easy to see how her patience and diligence add strongly to our team. Kevan is a Director of TPD Corporate Finance Limited, founding the business in conjunction with Tim Dumenil and Leo Gibbons in 2009.
A dealmaker with extensive experience Kevan has a genuine interest in helping clients and is committed to providing proactive advice and hands on support, which has led to Kevan gaining an enviable reputation in the industry for persistence, creativity and hard work and a track record in successfully completing transactions.

Jo Haigh | Non-Exec Director TPD Corporate Finance
Jo Haigh is a Non-Executive Director of TPD Corporate Finance Limited, and a partner in the fds Group, a specialist training and development business, which she founded in the 1990′s.
An experienced dealmaker, Jo specialises in putting together the right deal at the right time and in the right format for growing businesses throughout the country. She has bought and sold over 300 companies in the last 20 years specialising in owner managed companies.
She is a regular presenter for the Institute of Directors on corporate governance and mergers and acquisitions, and a Visiting Fellow at The University of Leeds where she delivers the Corporate Governance development programme for all academic staff wishing to hive off new companies.
A former Yorkshire Businesswoman of the Year, Jo is an established author. Her first book The Business Rules, published 2005 and 2006, was such a success that a foreign rights deal has been confirmed with a publisher in China. Mark Linnell – Consultant
Mark is a successful mediator and negotiator and an accomplished business improvement specialist. Formally Head of Sales and Marketing at Tawa plc, Mark joined TPD to develop our Corporate Finance business in London. With over 20 years in senior management positions in the retail and insurance sector, mostly involving corporate acquisitions, Mark brings with him a pragmatic and creative approach to deal management based on his strong military background.

George Peacock | Managing Partner – New Zealand and Australia
George is an experienced sales and marketing professional who has held senior management and Board level positions in well respected in UK and Multinational businesses. He started out his career after leaving Business School in Edinburgh, selling what was then the newly launched IBM PC. Following a career working in high technology, software and outsourcing he moved into the technology end of recruitment and then latterly to full service provision. He has had close links with the Financial sector during his technology career and afterwards, dealing with many of the larger European banks and Insurers. He is a member of the Institute of Directors, The Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Recruitment Society and has held senior management or Director positions at Xerox, Capita, OLM Group, JGP, Reed and latterly as founder of First Business Connects in London. George worked in New Zealand as part of an overseas placement with Xerox in the mid 1990′s and with a New Zealand wife he has recently returned there to develop his recruitment business and support TPD’s International operations through managing the TPD brand in New Zealand and Australia.
